i admit that when the instagram craze started i was slow to catch on board. i really didn't love it, but now i love using it to share random snapshots of my life. i thought it would be fun to feature some of my favorite instagrammers - starting with fawn deviney. follow her on instagram @sfawnd who are some of your favorites? i'd love to hear!
have you heard of 31 bits? i love the story behind their brand, they use fashion and design to help empower women to rise above poverty in uganda. you can watch a video of how the purchase of their jewelry can help the women here. i love discovering products that do good, do you know of any other companies like this? i'd love to hear about them!
we've had a pretty hot august in southern california and as much as i love summer, i am looking forward to fall. to celebrate fall diet coke is releasing a new look for 2012. i love seeing how brands evolve their design over the years and i'm a fan of the bold new cropped logo. what do you think about it?
this is my new favorite look for fall - can't get enough of the polka dot sweaters and graphic scarves. what about you?
here are some snapshots from the weekend! my food partner and good friend t was in town so good food was definitely in order. in addition we checked out this live body art exhibit that another friend of mine was working at. how did you spend your weekend?
eep! i've always dreamed of having my home featured on apartment therapy so i was thrilled when they contacted me (and also slightly in a panic!) my home has always been a work in progress and even though i didn't officially feel ready to showcase my home i'm glad i did. hop on over to apartment therapy to check out my feature!
earlier this year, i decided to start a little project similar to a 365 photo project with photos just looking down at my feet. i thought it would be a fun and easy way to document a 365 project - all from the iphone. the project was short lived but i've been inspired by satsuki'sfeet beat pinterest board to maybe start it up again.
i've got a big trip coming to japan coming up in october, i am so excited and can't wait to getaway fot a bit. one of the places i'd like to visit is the 100% chocolate café doesn't it look neat? the space was designed by wonderwall. also in love with their fun bold packaging designed by groovisions.
i've been craving a lot of ice cream lately, probably due to the fact that we've had an incredible hot couple of weeks in socal. (i know i'm from atlanta, and it's hot and humid there but seriously i've become weak sauce!) i stumbled upon phin and phebes ice cream and love their fun packaging designed by jefferson cheng. i really want to try some, specifically the vietnamese ice coffee one. i'm not much of a coffee drinker but i am completely addicted to vitenamese ice coffee sad news for me though, they only carry phin and phebes in and around nyc.
happy monday! despite having a stressful last week i managed to snap myself out of it and enjoy the weekend a bit. ate some good food, explored some local shops and of course spent some time playing beach volleyball. ready to start the week on a positive note!
do you guys remember this little printer from berg cloud? it prints notes, birthdays, news headlines, puzzles and a few other things, but really im just in love with how cute it looks! it is now available for pre-order!
one of my favorites stores in long beach is blue windows it has a mix of everything – from clothing and home goods to stationery and kids stuff. it is a great place to look for gifts and the fact that it is walking distance from my house is even better!
the store is well decorated and they carry some of my favorite products, not to mention everything in the store is pretty to look at. what do you guys think about this neon trimmed sofa?
im in love with the fun packaging for tina produce so clever and adorable don't you think?

i've been thinking about starting a little garden for a while now, but with the amount i travel it is hard to keep up with plants! i just discovered a device called click and grow, it's suppose to make gardening easy! check out this video here to learn the details. i ordered myself a starter basil kit, i am excited to try it out and will definitely report back!

oh, where did the weekend go! i spent most of the weekend trying to stay cool in this incredible hot weather we have going on in los angeles right now. i went shopping where the stores were blasting the ac, thankfully. how do you stay cool?
last christmas my family gifted me a beautiful marc jacobs bag since i couldn't bring myself to purchase the purse myself! as much as i love the purse – i always grab my longchamp bag for my daily routine. these are some options to add to the collection of everyday totes.
seriously ferm-living? i am officially obsessed. i am certain there isn't anything in the autumn/winter collection i wouldn't want into my home. the neon mountain/dotted/stripped pillows might be one of my favorites. be sure to check out their newest fall catalog, it is simply beautiful.
if you follow me on instagram or twitter you will know that i had quite a food adventure in wine country a few weeks ago. one of my favorite dishes from the weekend (besides everything we had a the french laundry) was the grilled frog's leap peaches with ricotta, basil and honey from farmstead. the dish was full of surprising flavors that i won't forget.
im sad that farmstead isn't just down the street, as i'd probably be a frequent diner. i loved the farm to table food and the space is beautiful and very inviting. they have a beautiful outdoor space and you can book a special event there too. if you're ever in the area be sure to check it out!
