hope everyone had a lovely thanksgiving holiday. i am recovering from all the delightful treats i had (probably one too many treats!) - but the time off was great looking forward to christmas and new years now.last week when sarah was visiting we made lunch stop at tavern in brentwood. it's been on my go-to list for a long time so i was glad we made the trip. the space is one of the best restaurant space's i've been to. they have three different rooms, all with a unique feeling but all cohesive together. you can see a little tour here. you see that tree in the middle of the room, thats real! for lunch we the shrimp & crab and a chopped chicken salad, both light but filling.

well, where did the year go! it's already thanksgiving time. i am spending the weekend in san francisco where some friends and i will be cooking up a feast. wishing you all a wonderful holiday.
