i love 3 day weekends! i got to spend some quality time with this cute little face. i also tried some of phil's bbq, which wasn't as amazing as i anticipated after waiting in the 45-60 min line – if i am going to wait that long, it better be falling off the bone! jlee also cooked up some of her mom's korean bbq - always makes me happy.
yay it's friday and the start of a long weekend! i plan on spending lots of time in the sun and visiting some friends in san diego. hope everyone has a great memorial weekend.

i saw these glass water bottles from faucet face at paper source this weekend. i love the 'tap is terrific' – bonus for each bottle that is sold faucet face will donate a portion of the profits to manufacture biosand filters for those in rural india. you can read more about biosand and faucet face here.

do you ever use recipe cards? i noticed that i've always just book marked my favorite recipes and always go back through digging so i decided to make some recipe cards. what do you think? a little bit of sweet and salty - maybe one day i'll sell them on etsy.
this weekend i checked out unique la with some friends. as always got to see some really awesome handmade things - one of my favorites was these glass cathedrals by lisa swerling. they were the small boxes with miniature people in them so cute. check out her website glasscathedrals.com for more.

okay, really who doesn't love anthropologie? every catalog i receive im always smitten over the clothes, photography and styling but this recent may 2011 issue...
